HOME WORKSPACE TIPS

hi friends! Wow, what a strange time we are in. Before anything else, I want you to know that I’m thinking of you! This unsteady moment is not easy for anyone. I’m sending you love and encouragement because I truly believe that there is great beauty to be found in our global experiment in community. The sacrifices made by so many people are exercises in putting humility, service, and love of neighbor above ourselves. It’s necessary work, and matters on a deep soul level.

With this in mind, I spoke with my local newspaper, the Gainesville Times, sharing tips for setting up your new home workspace. For many of you, this is your first time truly working from home. It can be daunting to tackle creating an office for yourself, but the time spent is so worth it! An intentional, dedicated space - even if it’s just a corner of a table in your dining room, helps you to order your mindset and manage your stress. And we can all use a little stress management as we adjust to our new normal.

I hope you’ll enjoy the piece, and take away some tips that you can put into practice in your own home. And, please keep in mind that I am only giving advice about the visual atmosphere of your workspace, not the cleanliness! I already know that you’ll keep yourself stocked with sanitizer, electronics cleaning products, and anything else you may need. And of course, you’ll WASH YOUR HANDS! Right? OK, good, I thought so. :)

Love and light to you all, and please reach out to me if I can support you in any way! We are all in this together!
